It was an absolute pleasure having you guys play at our wedding, we knew you’d be good based on the clips we’d seen online, but you certainly surpassed our expectations.
Our wedding guests were quite diverse, so it’s never easy to please everyone, but you absolutely bossed the croud, playing the best songs to keep them coming back for more. I danced that much I ended falling asleep in the hot tub after everyone had left!
Plus your rendition of Africa was absolutely amazing.
I would highly recommend you guys to my friends and family.

We heard String Beans perform at Oxjam in late 2015 and decided on the spot that we wanted them at our wedding reception. Their performance on the day was just perfect with a combination of classic gypsy jazz tunes and innovative arrangements of old classics. They were really organised and were spot on with communicating with us about the big day putting our minds at ease. We could not recommend these guys (and gals) enough!’

The String Beans MADE our wedding and were the best decision we made for our big day. The dance floor was packed the entire evening and of our guests could not get over how AWESOME they were (nor could we!) Seriously, if you are looking for a band who tick all the boxes, look no further. It will be the best decision you will make. Hands down, it was ours. Energetic, fun, friendly and incredibly professional. We really wanted our wedding atmosphere to be more of a fun knees up and these guys made that. We wanted them to play all night! Brilliant set full of our favourite songs and was great seeing our guests faces when they realised what the covers were, singing along. They even DJed and kindly covered our first dance song for us (which was the highlight of the evening!) We danced and sang our hearts out with them too (these guys know how to party!) and they always checked in with us throughout the evening – a genuinely lovely bunch of people. We are already looking ahead to the next occasion we can book them for. Thank you thank you THANK YOU again to The String Beans (can you release an album so we can relive our night again?!)

Chris and Jake travelled down to my hometown in Bradford on Avon to play at our wedding over Easter. We had spotted them at the Manchester Gin Festival last year and when we got engaged shortly afterwards knew we had to try and find them. They played a great set, the guests really enjoyed their music and our in laws are fancying them for their 60ths next year! We can’t thank them enough for travelling all that way and making our day perfect!
